Pasta Jalfrezi

Pasta done in Curry style

This tasty Curry-style Pasta can easily be tried at home .Happy cooking!.

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings

    • 200 gm pasta- boiled in 800ml water with 2 tsp olive oil and 2 tsp butter for 10 mins,drained and rinsed with chill water
    • 1 big onion - chopped fine
    • 1 big tomato-chopped fine
    • 1 g.chilli-chopped fine
    • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
    • 2 garlic cloves-chopped fine
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1 tbsp butter
    • 1/2 tsp chilli powder
    • 1/2 tsp garam masala
    • 2 tbsp tomato sauce
    • 1 tbsp chilli sauce
    • 2 tsp lemon juice
    • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
    • 2 tsp chopped celery
    • 2 tsp olive oil


    1. Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a non-stick kadai,saute chopped garlic,chopped onions,chopped green chilli, chopped tomatoes and ginger-garlic paste for 4-5 mins till done.
    2. Add chilli powder,garam masala,salt and then the done pasta.Stir-cook this for 3 mins at least.
    3. Add chilli sauce,tomato sauce,chopped celery and chopped parsley,stir-cook for 2-3 mins again on good flame and turn off the flame.
    4. 4.Sprinkle lemon juice on top and serve this hot.

    Picture looks great and so does recipe. I would also add red & yellow capsicum to it makes more yummy. thanks for sharing.
