Fill half a pot of water which is of a medium size .
Add chicken pieces and let it cook in water so that the stock is prepared .
After sometime add ginger and pieces of crab or meat .
Let it simmer on slow flame till the water reduces then take out the chicken piece and the crab and take the meat out ofthe shell and shred the chicken piece .
Add the meat to the soup and let it simmer till the meat seems to be like threads in the soup .
Add salt if desired .
Heat butter separately add maida to it and mix well then add in to the bubbling soup , this will thicken the soup as well as give flavour to it .
